How to send software?

i believe you can just upload your big videos on rapid shire if you have an account and then give the link to your friends and share it with them

I think hotfile is supporting multiple upload only through their remote upload, but uploading.com is already able to upload multiple files, up to 5 files at once. Rapidshare i am not really sure, since i haven't join in yet.

Friend, now I understand hotfile don't support multiple uploads, but I wonder what benefit we get from multiple upload feature because here we have lots of files for one software. Suppose assume I have 15 files for one software, and if I upload every single file there, I will get download links for each file, and so I will need to give 15 download links to download one software which is cumbersome. Don't you think so?

Moreover, I wonder what url shall I place in remote uploads.

Multiple upload does little help to me as I don't upload picture one by one; with regard to softwares if I split too many parts of them, viewers will get bored to download them, btw, how much space does uploading.com provide?

I have got one more idea. Instead of 15 download links, we can zip all 15 files and upload it so that whole software can be download with just one link. Then give the download link to any people. I think it will work out.

If any body using rapidshare just remember not to use file legth more than 100 mb ,rapidshare dont allow big files.

Are you sure they allow just 100 mb of files? Many softwares are usually in GB, then what's the use of this rapidshare? Why it's very popular then?

I think not, 100mb limit is for a single file, now I'm searching for space that provides music file hosting, where I can link mp3 files for blog BGM. Currently I use skydrive which has 25GB free storage but the url of my music file changes from day to day.

Well, friend, but some video files(one silgle file) are usually more than 700 MB. Even a movie is more than 1.5 GB. I wonder then how people are able to upload high capacity movies and files in rapidshare. There must be something other way to upload high capacity files. Certainly 100 MB is not enough, I know for premium member it's 2 GB which is not again enough.

:shock: Are you sure they're not premium members to upload large files? or they just split .rar files?
I notice that there are some tools that are convinent to download files there like CryptLoad, which can breakout download limit as reputed, maybe there are similar tool for uploading?

Friend, I'm not sure about anything. I don't have any experience with rapidshare. As to hotfile, I just contact their support regarding multiple files, I got a reply from that we can upload multiple files using FTP, and for big softwares we can easily create one folder in hotfile and upload in it all filkes then give the download link of that folder to your friends. I already uploaded some videos and now I'm searching for some forums to promote those links.

I don't think so, because all softwares are not same and some softwares are such types it can be consume up to 5 to 7 CDs to store, so all software sizes are not equal some are small in size and some are large in size..

You are exactly correctly. That's what I wonder, when such uploading sites don't offer more than 400 MB (free members) and 2 GB (premium member), how some guys are able to upload more than 2 GB files say 5 or 10 GB files in rapidshare. Hope someone help me in this regard.

So friend that's why I say generally, except those .exe files of games, like FTPRush I mention is just about 6mb, if you get that particularly large software where can you upload it, and who would like to download it from the net? I think they may purchase CDs instead.

I think people would be more interested in games like WarcraftIII, upcoming Starcraft II, and many big RPG games like Final Fantasy X that can be played via Emulator on PC, or even Japanese x-rated Galgames they are generally larger than 1GB but have full potential to get traffic and downloads, these large files are usually shared by torrents while smaller softwares are placed on net space.

even those big games are also being cut into smaller files/parts to be downloaded separately and then recollected after being downloaded. :wink:
