I believe they do; last time I checked, new account still required manual activation from the admin of the site.

I think it is a bad idea, because lots of members just quite even before joining because of this rule!

Yeah, I see people complained about the manual activation, although I personally didn't have that problem when I registered in MyHYIP.

Thanks for the information that I will have to send the mail for activating my account. Infact, I did not know this and I have not sent such mail uptill now. I will do it immediately.

If your account isn't activated within a few days, maybe you can contact id62000 in MMK. S/he's one of MyHYIP's mods. Good luck.
