Just wondering. I know we all need to pay $1.75 to avail of its full services but that measly amount can't keep such a large site up and running... so does anyone know how PayPal makes its money? Maybe we can learn from it

hi there,paypal makes money just like any other bank account..for free accounts(non-verified) it makes money by storing their money till the time they withdraw it and paypal keeps it in their bank..and from verified members it also earns by charging fee on transactions..

it is really easy to see how the make money. they just charged us horrendous fees so that is why they are really rich now. they are the largest payment processors online.

paypal accepts a very high fees for each transaction that you do and that is how paypal earns a lot from this.

whats more if one person buy product online with a credit card then the receiver should pay some fee to be able to receive the money.
