There is an update in LR blog. LR will be unavailable for a short time on May 9th

Liberty Reserve will be unavailable on:
    9 May, between 08:00 and 11:00(GMT)

This upgrade will give you a faster, more productive system.

Thank you for choosing Liberty Reserve.

I remember last time they are doing update and announced to be down for a short time, but then they actually take a longer time than expected as they said there are other problems faced there. Hope this time they won't take too long to finish the updates.

Well liberty reserve needs to do something about their problems. I think many businesses are getting affected by their downtime. And what they need is a new site with new script. They already have money and members. So there is no need to start again.

well yes, liberty reserve goes offline very often without even giving any notice to the people there.
atleast they can send out a mail to all the users who have registered to their site in order to avoid this dilemma.

I think the founder of Eurogoldcash is no more the founder for LR, he left it and creating a new one for himself. I am thinking whether will this give some impacts to LR, as now EGC will be LR rival and they are just competing themselves for it.

I don't think LR and EGC will become rival in future their might be same person own both site and it is just start let's see how things goes still their is no trusted exchanger have been listed for EGC so it is in primary stage but i hope both site will provide good service and will remain for long time.

But no matter how, both LR and EGC is doing same business as payment processor, no matter it is running by same admin or not, both of them will sure be a rival in other means, cos when more using one type of payment processor will then hurt another one, so it is the rival in this means. Of course now EGC won't be a rival or threat to LR, as they are just established.

since they are found by the same person i dt think they wil become rival but once they break their patnership then it can lead to a rival between them and i guess at that stage both will be same as egc is just lauched so egc will get members and exchnager

You means EGC offer service like PP, what type of services that you expected from them? I only think that EGC and LR both should have implemnet charge back services to show their reliability like paypal and AP.
