Are the payment processors safe!

How many of you think that payment processors such as paypal, e-gold, alertpay, stormpay, liberty reserve etc can be made totally free from hackers. My e-gold account was hacked once but fortunately there were just few cents in my account and so i did not lose much. What about you people do you think that your e-currency accounts are totally safe?

From my point of my view i feel that paypal account is safe for all internet and online programs ... It is so safe and secure and hence most of the online programs choose it as their payout medium to send the money to the customers.. I heard about e-gold a long back that many persons accounts are hijacked.. hence nowadays i avaoid joining programs that pay using e-gold.....

Depends on you that are you using new or old like paypal and e-gold
If you are using old they are safe but just make your PC scaned by antivirus to prevent your processor to hack...

Because hacking is now a common phenomenon by hackers..

i agree with smithjjw..you can have your own option of relying on any payment processor that is universally accepted and has been in use since long..but at the same time you should also be careful about using them as the more popular a payment processing system becomes..the more obvious becomes its hacks by hackers who are always getting smarter..

i prefer paypal from my experience although i have never used e-gold..but i find paypal better than e-gold as far as its user interface is concerned..
