Learning MySQL
i have started learning about MySQL and although from name it looked pretty mysterious to me but now i think its not that difficult..so my Structured Query Language is finally goin fine with me..but i have a doubt..is it always free to use coz i have read it in the e-book i got but its not written with surity i suppose..it should be free..but again am not sure..plz someone tell

more probably that it will not be for free. i don't hear any thing from amazon that are for free. but it is i would like to have it too.

well i don't know which site that offer practice programming online. but mostly those tutorials i have tried i was not really able to follow easily. i really get confused to learn them or follow them.

well you can read only theory online.
if you want to practice the programs then you will have to really work on installing softwares on to your system

You can use your mysql for creating the basic database of your website. I guess, you must be using its autoinstallation feature in which your server automatically configures databses for you..may be thats why you haven't used it..coz its needed before we get started.

Well MySQL is really easy. If you know how to use a computer then you can learn it very fast. You should have some basic knowledge of configuring a server and that's it. Iam a MCTS(Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist) in SQL Server 2005.

you can learn sql from basic books or else you can follow oracle books also it will give good about sql

There are many website from which anyone can learn about mysql.
mysql is very easy. any one can learn . And the use of mysql is vast.
i will suggest you to go w3wschools.com to learn mysql smoothly. and you will many example on that site which helps you to learn mysql easily...
