    Default don't you think pay-per-install programs can cause nuisance?

    whenever i visit any website and if there comes a pop-up it really irritates me..and if am not wrong pay-per-install programs do the same like they lead to pop-ups..don't you think they can reduce your traffic?

    ya, I think everybody face this problem. Whenever i saw lots of pop upp then i left this site. What u will do?

    thats true byyp. But you know this is the best method they can earn from.

    Yes, that's right. Easy money through these pop-up ads. Actually you can avoid pop-ups by using Google toolbar with a built-in pop-up blocker, or Yahoo. There are already many free pop-up blockers out there you can use!

    yes i know pop ups can be blocked using google and yahoo toolbar facility.
    but they are really not working that well and they do not really block the pop ups.

    yah these Pay per install programs give lot of pop ups. thats how they earn money.
    But i am not sure if they give viruses with their pop ups...

    and the worst thing is none of my pop-up blocker blocks them..they are forced pop-ups most of the times..so i have stopped visiting such sites altogether i wonder what if the same way our visitors think..! :shock:

    yes it does get irritating and can slow down things...pop-up blockers should work and only a message saying a pop up has been blocked shud come up...but anyways u shud stick to the install only if it generates a decent amount of cash for u

    so..is it like if someone is unable to block them,they get installed?so,this means they are just unwanted cookies??

    Well but activeX is trouble, because they can install viruses or trojans, but popup-ads, most of the times show ads, and nothing more, but that doesn't release those that also install viruses and others.

    yes panky you are absolutely right. only using these sites my system has already got lot of trojan viruses.

    active X only from the trusted sites are good to use to..

    hmm well thats true. else there is great chance of getting virus into our system.
    thanks for sharing. But hw do we come to know which site is trusted.

    Yes this is very common problem with almost everyone. There are pop up blickers available which can block such pop ups and save you from that irratation.
    However, we must remembre that they are meant for earning through advertising. So they will keep comming on every site. We have to live with them.

    well i really don't mind those pop ups. i want to have those pop ups too so that i will be able to earn in my blog too.
