please provide some guidance about domains

hello there,can please someone tell me how this procedure goes..what are the things we should keep in mind before buying or hiring domains..?do we always have to pay for like per month or per annum..isn't there any service which provides domains for one time fee only..thanks

Dear byyp, as my opinion, we need to choose always short domain and .com is the best, because most of people are familier with .com.

Just go to any domain registration site, then choose the domain which you want, buy it for how many days you want to have it. Mostly its available for 1 year. I guess there are no services which provide this kind of service.

you can get from sites which you need to do some research on that look for good service provider.

if we want to go for a .com domain though it is known by most of the people the domain is costly and the hosting they are providing is too low.what i have heard is that we can purchase a .info domain for a very less price and moreover the hosting space is also more.

I think you are referring about domain name registration. If domain registration, it is done per year or longer by paying amount to domain registering company. For domain hosting, it depends on what you need, and what purpose of your site before choosing a plan for it. If you have doubt just register for a free domain hosting first to get some knowledge and test run of your website.
