To be able to sell your blog, you would have to have a site with so much traffic that it wouldn't really make sense to sell it. But if you do manage to sell it, you should be able to make a lot of money from what I've seen.

What I know is, selling blog is not easy. People likes website than blog.
But if your blog really good, then maybe you can sell it.
I heard that someone get paid $15 million by selling his blog.

I dont know about selling blog but blogsite can be sold or bought with good blogs but individual blogs selling i dont have any idea.

there are a certain advantages and disadvantages with all kinds of blogs so i want to know which kind of a blog do people prefer to buy the most.

This is all depends on what your blog is about, your traffic, google page rank and alexa ranking. If you really have a good traffic, you may able to sell your domain easily. You can parked your existing blog site to sedo.com to help you find a good price of selling your blog.
