Trading news can be quite profitable, provided you have good skills. But you also need a good broker that would help you truly for your requirements. News, especially high impact news produces appreciably higher volatility and lots of whipsaws, more so if there are conflicting set of data’s. I earlier traded with XM broker which was horrible during news release and gave lots of slippages/re-quotes and widening of spreads, which made trading news almost impossible without big losses.
