yes html is very importamt for creation of website after html there is css then asp then php then perl then cgi and many more and html is very easy for beginner's

Yes if you want to be a web master you must have to be a well command over the HTML
as i think HTML is the base of web
and if you don't know HTML then you can't design your site properly!

As i also don't know web designing,,
but i think it is important for every thing>>

Html is the platform for learning website design ... You can learn it very easily by using blogger where everything is done by html basis.

HTML is the skeleton for any web programming I can say. All these languages in one way or the other depend on HTML coding skeleton where the other languages are just filled up in between as flesh

you stole my words vimstar2 :wink: ..yes..HTML is "the skeletal framework" of any website..so without HTML a site can not exist.. :!: of course there are other programming languages like XML used instead of HTML but that too developed from HTML

yes i think html is really important. when we see website. the first we notice are the html. and so it seems like website depends much on the html.

I beg to differ, guys. You don't need HTML knowledge for webdesigning. You just do your stuff in Photoshop, and you can find some company to help you XHTML your website. The fastest one I know is in 8 hours

Though if you knew HTML it'd be a plus plus.

However if you meant webmastering, then HTML knowledge is a must. Even how little would be good.

toast, its not always easy to pay the coders..and only designing your site using photoshop isn't enough..either one needs to use dreamweaver or know HTML..

yes it is expensive to pay for those coders. the best thing is to do it yourself or learn it yourself. html is the most easy. but still i have still tol earn all those html basics.

Well if you want to develop a professional site then you should know HTML and javascript but if you want to build a normal site then you can do it on dreamweaver without the need to know HTML.

yeah. HTML is one of the easiest things to do. You dont need to be a scholar to know HTML. It will hardly take a week to learn.

If you want to make a website, you can make it without knowing html. There are many freely available s/w are in the net, you can create a website visually by it or you can use the free templates also. But without knowing html, which is the basic of any website, you don't have enough confidence even to think about it.

Yes, It is very IMPORTANT to know HTML to develop the website. But again that is depends on the types of tools available.. If you have more advanced tools for designing Website and the one who generates HTML code automatically then not require to know HTML full.
