Since 2006, Joomla has been downloaded more than 45 million times with a new download every 2.5 seconds. Isn't amazing?

joomla is a open source based platform where we can create mobile friendly web applications which will provide direct connectivity to database engines like MySQL and others. so you can also term it as Content management system
