While submitting a link to any directory we will provide a email to which confirmation mail will be sent, so when your site is submitted in the directory then you will get a confirmation mail from that directory that your site has been waiting for approval.

So first the mail of submission and then approval or denial mail. How much does the directory owners take to approve/deny a link entry ??

well it varies from directory to directory. Some directory even takes months to review the site listings.

so they are not really free at all. well i don't have the money yet to submit to those paid directories. i thought they are for free.

Well indiover I am talking of the working submission to the directories normally people charges you something to do that, Everyone mostly all prefer free submissions to directories.
