Problem in installing wordpress "asking for mysql host'

Friends, I tried to install wordpress in my host, but I always failed. Actually, it was asking for something called mysql host name in wp-config.php file, but there is no such thing given in my host control panel. Could you please tell me what shall I provide in the space "my sql host" in wp-config file. I already put data base name, username and password in it.

Friends, I read in some forums that mysqlhost name is localhost, but I don't know what is localhost. If you know please let me know. Because of this I'm not able to install the wordpress yet.
