Help for wordpress

Hello there.I have just started a new blog at wordpress.I wanted to add some script in the sidebar of widget.I am not getting where to addd that thing.Can i apply same script at a time to all pages.I need some exxpert opinion.IF possible can you chat with me on gtalk.

Login to your site wordpress account from where you post.
Move in Dashboard.
Navigate to Appearance >>Editor ..Edit Themes Stylesheet (style.css)

Then on the right side bar click on Sidebar (sidebar.php)

Add your code where ever you want.

I am too learning up wordpress.

Oh thanks buddy.I too was thinking about editing css but i thought that we have to insert code in html and that's why i don't bothered to do so.I am not good in css yet and don't know php.I only know is html.I will check this out.
