No, this is not the truth, in fact now more and more people is choosing linux hosting, due to their hosting plan is cheaper, and linux is seldom being infected by virus, and those mysql database for linux is also cheaper and some free too. People choose windows hosting mostly for their application hosting where supporting microsoft sql server .
NO, window's hosting usage is more as people do prefer window's just because of the easiness as Linux is difficult to follow and there are not many people who follow Linux, though Linux is the best as it is also more secure
