How i will take screen -Short from Video?

I saw many video from many site - (youtube etc..) So, my question is - how i will take screen short from those Video?

Cant you just use print screen button and then paste it at your paint software, lastly just cut the part that you want and save it to another gif fiels.?

Yes I just learnt to take screenshot recently from a forum. Just click prtscn (SysRq) button of your keypad at your desired screen, then open MS paint and paste the picture. Cut those portions which you do not want and save it with the extention .PNG. With this type of file, your picture will not shrink (this I am not saying from my own experience).

I don't think Paramita is asking here about screenshot coz I know he knows about it very well and I have seen many payout proofs (screenshots) of her. She is trying to say some other thing which is not quite clear.

I also think that she want something easier to capture for his video screen in youtube, but not those hard works by print screen and paste in paint.

@ssarkar,
you tips if for capturing video on media player, i dont think media player can open youtube file. Paramita can try using flvplayer which can open and capture screen of youtube video.

But the problem is I don't know how to take screen short from a youtube video...

- this is my question?

ssarkar - most of the time I am using RealPlayer - So, Pls tell the how I will do it?

You can do this by running RealPlayer, clicking on View -> Preferences, going to the Performance tab, unchecking the box labeled "Use optimized video display", hitting OK, and restarting RealPlayer. Now you may make take a screenshot by pressing the [ALT + PRNTSCRN] combination. You can paste this screenshot into any graphics editing program (e.g. MS Paintbrush) and save the file.

Yes the same process is told in the site darknet. Paramita should search the net and find it by herself. There is a ocean of informations available in the world.

So, here i want to share with my all friends.. No need to do so many things..

Its very easy -

I do know how to do it with Gomplayer. I use it now every day. I like Gomplayer better than any other player because it is easier to handle. Gomplayer also plays all file types. Preferences -- Others -- select All File Types and Codecs.

For making screen captures just right click on player for menu. There you see Control Panel (F7). Click CP or hit F7. With this little window you can make your screen captures. You can change the directory to where you want the screen captures will be safed.

I'm the first time hearing about Gomplayer, in fact I'm using another video player call KMPlayer, it supports video screenshot too, just have a google search and you find downloads, I think it's more powerful.

Well you can use vlc media player or powerdvd as both support the screenshot function.Also there is a software called video snap capture.You can use that too.

yup vlc player is the most easiest to use , i already use it to viewing videos and taking screenshots , it is quite simple to operate.
