Well I joined the site and posted a few answers. I could see that my reputation was being increased when I posted any answer. Is the reputation points our earning or is there any other section to view our earnings ?

you can see your shares of earning if you click on the account link
there you can see how muhc you earnt and how much is your share you will be paid

Allright thanks for the help and then what are the reputation points for ? I mean they always increase after every answer.
