What is Rapidshare? Can we earn from it?

I mean in case the official staff check and delete our contents if the contents infringe any copyright law, we can set passwords with .rar files to prevent them from viewing our contents.

I don't know what is rar files. May I know how to create it? And which software shall I need to use it. Simply, please brief me about rar files. I can see many rapidshare files come up with rar format, but I don't know what is that.

well rar files are like zip files now a days all files come with rar compress format not zip any more and software used is winrar.

so there are more formats now than before. i have not tried to learn this one . i only that it is not free site. what is the advantage of using this site.
