What is Rapidshare? Can we earn from it?

WEll since now a days there are many people using phiser i think it is not ggood to spend time there as there are other sites where you can earn a lot from them.

Yup they pays to every country traffic just u need premium account before u upload any files and promote it just in case u are using Free Account u will not able to earn points for downloading.

Well, I don't think we need to be a premium to upload files. Any member can upload files as much as they want, but to download files, one must be a premium member to get full access, otherwise there are many limitations.

Even there are other sites provide pay to download programs rapid remain most popular one, except ziddu, you don't know when those sites will collapse and their financial support is a secret.

The reason why rapidshare is very popular I think that they allow people to search for files that any member has uploaded and in fact there are some rapid share search engines as well. But other uploading sites maintain privacy of our files, and unless and until you yourself promote them, no other way for other people to search for our files and download. Even we cannot find any others' files for download if we want some softwares or etc.

Does rapidshare allow adult related contents? if it does there must be problems as the public is exposed to them. I notice that some .rar files I downloaded before are with passwords in order to prevent getting deleted in case they infringe copyright law.

Friend, I wonder why we can't delete the downloaded files. We can easily delete any files that we downloaded in our PC no matter where it is from (from rapidshare or something file). But I'm not sure if they allow adult files.

well rar files are like zip files now a days all files come with rar compress format not zip any more and software used is winrar.

So you mean rar files is just another zip files, through which we can compress files, but I wonder which password duskiss is talking about. I never come across any password in zip files, don't know about winrar. Moreover, what benefit we get from those password. If possible, tell me how to set password in winrar?

before u start Compressing file u will see option then go to Advance Menu and their u will see 'Set Password' option

or u can set password by right clicking on selected Rar file.

so there are more formats now than before. i have not tried to learn this one . i only that it is not free site. what is the advantage of using this site.

If you want to upload some contents to rapidshare but they infringe the TOS, then you can set password while compressing contents so the site staff cannot examine them, if you want to share them on forums, just post the password with download links. In this way people from the forum can see your contents but rapidshare site staff cannot see.

I also don't know that much why peoples set password but i have observed many set password on their site name or want to keep only one quthor some time peoples do copy paste stuff of other members so if their is no password no one will download it after seeing members comment.

Well nowadays there are rapidshare alternatives are coming so that many people are prefering them.Mediafire is a good alternative and was giving money in start but they have stopped it now.

yeah their are lots of site paying money for download but only Rapidshare paying points for every download i have seen but after we create new account we can sold that account for high money i have seen in many forums peoples are earning good money from that.

People setting password in the zip file is for some possible reasons. When they uploaded the files, the hosting server may has infected by virus, and it may affected their upload file, while having password, virus couldn't changes the file. So some people don't dare to download files that without password, worry that they will get infected by virus too.

Well some time peoples do lot's of download and with free account they will not able to download fast thats why peoples use Premium account for download and u can create Premium account by points for u can buy it.

and till now i have heard 5$ is lowest prize on Forums like GAF.
