Do you only promote your download link to your home country only? If your blog or joining site that promote it through worldwide, it won't be much affected by the traffic. You still can join and get money out of it. A good way is promote download at those US type of sites link or forum.

there are many leechers in internet and hence if you only post in one site, it gets spread to international sites as well.
