Finally CEO has announced that the new rates changes for his forum. It is a bad news for all, as he is having problems in his business hence the value of GCs is being cut 75% as before. It means we are getting less than 1 cent for our post there.

Here is the announcement :

Payment Plan Change !

Dear MMK Members,

Effective immediately, on current MMK GC's earned on future GC's earned and for all payments being made henceforth, the rate of the MMK GC will now be 1/4th its past value.

Meaning if you collect 1000 GC that will fetch you a $2.5 payment.

This is a drastic step.
Yes, as admin at MMK I admit it but it is better than stopping all paid posting on our Forum. Which is what we were discussing internally.

- The economy has turned, and I've been affected in other businesses, which makes it difficult to just keep paying out of pocket to members.

I don't want a large profit. I don't mind NO PROFIT. But I cannot sustain a large loss.
Currently, to keep MMK clean, we have not gone behind banners and ads galore.
This will continue to be the case. The main aim of the forum is for :
"People to meet each other, learn from each other, share, earn from the forum itself and from the knowledge you get from the forum"

When revenue starts pouring in later to MMK, I will re evaluate rates and increase payout.
Till then, please understand my position and accept what can be offered.

Please do not complain much about this here or elsewhere, because I don't want our good mods to be bogged down answering people unless really required.

All new payment queries for coming months will be handled by Mods as usual. All old payment requests from old members have been responded to and will move forward as mentioned to you. However, new rates will apply and I would like you to accept that as you are old members who mostly have been paid several times before.

Please Edit all places on the forum that needs editing to reflect this.

does this update affect the current requests of old members as well? I think CEO should clear out this.

I see the announcement have a sentences to MODS, asked them to edit the payout request accordingly. I think this updates is affecting all the old members payout. This is really a bad news, seem like it is time for a great forum to drop.

Well i dont think it will affect our old payout requests as we had requested way back in feb , but anyway i would think that activity would decrease at the forum because of the low as rate per reply is less than a cent.

Well for the old payout requests the new rates will apply.

Well I am going to request my first payout from MMK this month i have 9 referrals most of them are active.

I think with this reduce rate for MMK forum, there will be some impact to current PTP market. Other forum may get more actives members in future, or some forum may also following their footsteps by reducing the post rate. We will have less earning in PTP forum.

I really never expected it from MMK. I thought we get paid full amount for whatever we earned before, but now it seems we will be paid only 1/4th of our earning, that's not really fair. I have around $38 now, which means I will be paid only around $9.5 for my $38 (wow! huge loss for me as well). I don't think I'll post here anymore. So far I got paid only once in MMK, and this is the second request. That means I'm going to lose my $28(........wow! 2009 is the very bad year for me so far where I'm always losing my money in all money-making programs).

hey the same case with me too lemon. i had requested 10 USD . since i am old member they are paying me now only 2.5 USD.
I have got loss there.

Well I will let you know on the referral bonus soon. I will have to talk to CEO about it.

It is sad for you that you have accumulated so much of the credits there. Anyway, we are all been affected as now all the GCs is in reduce rate, it is just you have more GCs compare to us. I think if you have request payment on the pass month, you should have get paid already.

Yes you are correct, but I'm not disappointed with the new rate. That's upto the admin who is going to decide the rate what he can afford, but the problem is he is going to pay the new rate for all gold coins whatever we earned already which I think really not fair.

I know that the new rules are a bit dissapointing for all of you but the admin is incurring losses and hence he cannot go on paying at the same rate . Once the things start going well he might increase the rates again.

Even If CEO will increase rate per post in future, but i think in current econimic downturn, it won't be easy or so fast for CEO to recover the lost. We may only expect the rate increase may be after half a year or next year.
