Hosting a Wordpress blog ...
Should I host a Wordpress blog with either scalahosting.com or libertyvps.net?
What would you do being in my place?

Both mentioned companies - scalahosting.com as well as libertyvps.net - are worth every cent you pay for their services.
Everything fits, the servers are fast, the channels are fast, the prices are very adequate and the support answer very fast. If it happens something, the support will respond very quickly. In general, I could not recall any drawbacks. I am really happy with everything.
