I don't think anyone would give a domain for a free. Maybe there are some hidden things which must be fulfilled to get one like "only people with good traffic website can apply" so that they can put their own ads in it.

Well the trick is we have to pay one year hosting charges at start and then only they will provide it to us.
Also the cost of renew is too high of such domains.
One of my friend made a site and then after one year he had to pay 20$.

Now I understand it's of no use because they will cover up your first year register fees while renewing your account second year. But some short-term sites like HYIP, autosurf can go for this free domain but I'm not sure if they allow free domains to such short-term sites.

Does that means we do not need to pay anything for the domain registration plus the domain hosting for free 1 year? Do they have any term and condition that we have to signup with them for at least 3 years or something, to make sure they are getting some money from us?

If it is really free domain, is it becuase of sublevel domain and not top level domain?

Yes, people who wants a website just for an year can go for this as it is free, still i feel once you go for that you may have to put their advertisements free on your site..!

we should buy domain first before claim free hosting.
And unfortunately, their domain price is very expensive, it's $35 per year.
Normally, we can get a domain with only $9 per year

So, it doesn't really free anyway.
$35 just to get 20 Mb free hosting is wasting money.
I can get 1 Gb hosting site with only $10

Well there is always a catch in domain names with some hosting offer.So it is advisable to take both of them seperately.
I am using free domain so do not bother to use this.
