    You mean anyone who keep minimum 10,000 balance will get one credit card from Axis bank? I don't think so. They will also demand one should be an employed person with good salary.

    @microsoft
    Just now I confirmed we(Indians) can get a credit card from Axis bank if we have a minimum balance of Rs. 10,000 and 6 months old account. Plus we should carry lots of transactions during this 6 months. This requirements are more easier to fulfill than the Rs. 1 lakh kind of requirements in other banks.

    Thanks lemon, you have at least confirmed what we have claimed before. Then we can have a credit card from Axis Bank, no need to deposit a large amount of money.

    anyways, what i can say is that you can easily withdraw your money if you are not transfering huge amount you can keep your unverfied account only
    otherwise, nationalized banks credit cards are much safer than going for a private bank like AXIS

    Nowdays, there is no difference between the nationalised bank and pvt banks, as far as risk in concerned. If those credit cards are visa verified, then all are same, at least what I think.

    Minimum balance Rs. 10,000 is not a concern to be, but the thing we should carry lots of transactions for at least 6 months before we apply for a credit card is really a concern to me. I'm sure I can't do much transactions now but maybe in the future.

    Lemon are You Sure about it because I already have a Axis Bank account with minimum balance of Rs.5000/-, and if they Produce a Credit card for maintaining Rs.10,000 then it won't be a hard matter for me....Then I will Go for It

    Yes I'm sure about it. But your account must be at least 6 months old and you must have done lots of transaction during these days, otherwise they may reject your credit card application.

    When I gone to apply for a credit card, the transaction criteria is not said to me. Anyway, I have decided to apply for it now though I have not a veri high amount of transaction there. Let's see what's their reaction would be.
