Between ASP and php
Hi experts can u pl tell me why most websites using php code to develop the sites instead of ASp ,ASp code also having all features ,anything wrong in it?

Hi! Once again asp or asp.net?? Well both are amazing but php being open source its not at all expensive!! Whereas .NET 3.5 costs u $$$!! Well and also asp.net being the product of Microsoft!

Talking about ASP and PHP, actually most user using PHP more is because PHP is programing language for Linux system which is open source and free while ASP need microsoft license, that why people will tend to prefer free things over pay one.

Well php is more secure as compared to asp.Many times the hackers can enter the coding by hacking .net framework,this is not the case with php.So it is more used.

Friends, do you mean php is not supported in windows hosting, but I have come across in many windows hosting PHP is supported, so I wonder how much PHP is for linux and asp is for linux.

who told you that windows doesn't support PHP , all hosting supports php but you need to install PHP and Apache in your server first before installing any php script in your server and asp is still popular 50 % of people like to use Asp script and res is divided in to many part as some like to use coldfusion, some like php and some like Python and some like ruby on rail etc...
