I don't think this site is a legit site since they are new and i can't found anything about this site.
But do I need to invest some money to earn on this site?

Yes, you have to give 3 dollar or 7 dollar to register here. Actully I think the site is a scam, because sometimes you see that the registration charge is 7 dollar and sometimes it is around 3 dollar, though the site address is same. After registering, you have to apply for jobs (one good thing is that they would refund your registration fee within 7 days, if you can't find a job or are not satisfied with the site).

If this site existed since 2002, and paying to their members, we should be able to find more info or payment proof around the internet. I think we can try google this site and see is there any info for us to study. I will post here once i find any news from this freelance site.

I had paid for the trial membership for 7 days long back. After that I was allowed to apply on their site to different "so called employers looking for freelancers". Most of them had kept the expairy period of their offer more than 15 days. So when my membership ended, I asked them if I was selected by some of those employers then how would I know. They said that you will get the information in your inbox (which was on their site) and my membership was expairing. So I had to I had to renew my membership for one month and I did not get any offer.
My money wasted. So please do not pay anything to this site for getting freelance job. There are sites which allow you to bid "free of cost".

Sorry to hear that. I just searched in Google, too. Apparently, this site was formerly known as TheWorkExchange or FreelanceWorkExchange. And this site is a scam. Here are the reference:

Better stay away from this site.

I have heard about the site and I've been receiving emails from gofreelance but I think I checked them out once or twice only. I was turned off right away with how good their payments are. And where there's easy cash, most of the time the scammers are just around the corner as well.

Re: http://www.gofreelance.com/
ya you are right but the ad management is not good half a page is cover with ads and in right side there is full of ads and they have time to time showing adult ads also.otherwise there is nothing wrong in that site.

Once I have also registered with this site with 7 dollar, but can't find a job within 7 days (though applied for a few one). At that time I did not have the courage to renew it for a further period of 1 months, so got my money back within 1 week. So in one sense the site is not a scam, otherwise the had not returned my money.

Since it is proved that this site is a scam, I would like to request the mods to close the thread.
