I heard Google Adsense is bad for Paid to Post forums. I think CEO's Adsense account was frozen because he used it on MMK and some members clicked it and I heard the admin of EMP's Adsense, too. I do not really know why Adsense did that, but I do not think it is a good idea.

No alec it is a misconception ,CPM ads generally comes with CPM plus CPC ads ,one advantage with cPM ads is wew ill get paid for visits but in cpc like adsense one has to completely depends on clicks which is uncertain.just think about one thing take our case when we are giving post on different forums how many ads we generally click ,we go there ,post and come back .So i'll rely on CPM ads,lets see .

if you want to be good at CPM programs then you should be able to get many traffic cheap ads to promote your link.
for example some people build a ptr site and run paid to promote program and it can get many traffic.

No, this will not work. If satyakam forum allow GPT sections there, google adsense will not approve it. Even the new forum is no GPT sections, but asking members to click the google ads is also violating their rules, it will eventually risking his google adsense acccount to be blocked. So, the best way is still finding advertiser and sponsorships.

Hello satyakam, nice to hear that u also going to start ur own forum..
My suggestion is -

The rate. I think the favourable rates for members are at least 3 cents per post and 4-5 cents per thread. The more, more if u gave us then its supper... The rate is depends on u only... If anybody scam in ur forum then - their points also..

But the minimum payout should be low.. like $2 to $10 ... not more than that.. and whenever anybody request for payout... then don't take so much time dear... as soon as possible do it.. Quick payment gives u lots of members as well as raputation also... :wink:

I agree with paramita that the rate per post is not so much important as the payment conditions. Like low rate per post and low payout at 2$ is also acceptable to the members.
Secondly, the delay in making payments creats bad impression in the minds of the members and they become inactive which in turn affects the reputation and earning of the forum.

of course it will make some profit but i dont think it will last long because it is easy to be detected.
if one of you are detected then all of them parteners will be banned.

The minimum Payout should be $ 10 and the minimum rate per thread should be at least $0.02 Or $0.03 if higher it should be depends on the owner.

Paramita i can't afford 5cents ,this is very high rate ,we should look to larger perspective ,site owner should look to permanent things ,members will always ask for better payment but site admin should look for revenue site.

I think $2 is too low even though it is for promotional payout. The normal minimum payout can be set to $10 while the promotional is $5. The members might complain for a while, but I think they will still go for it if the rate is 3 cents or there are other things that can benefit them.
But I think in the meantime, you should have enough money to start with and try to find out all possible ways to get money to pay the members.
