    Thanks a lot for posting link. This is really very useful tool for the analysis of the traffic and also setting the goals. I think most of the people will be using this google's tool. I am not sure again how many knows really about such a beautiful tool developed by google for free.

    Both of them are good they provide free services and they give good customized reports also, in my view statcounter is good.

    For me Google Analytics is the far more prefered option and as far as stat counter is concerned, it gives only the number of visitors to your site

    If you are a beginner, then you can ordinary site counters. Later,when you become curious to know more detailed traffic info about your site, switch to Google analytics. That's the best.

    I use feedjit to know the daily stastics exactly, and choose start counter to know the total stastics, such as total pages, visitors, and daily pages. i had never used google analytics.

    here is one such site to track Ip address Ip-details.com ..probably some ISP that use proxy server but almost every ISP give your IP address that is allocated to their network.
    Usually they cover with some IP ranges some area of city or state. So someone IP trackers will be able to get exactly your location and sometime they will be very close.

    Google Analytics is more comprehensive; StatCounter is simply for personal use. GA is a service offered by Google that generates detailed statistics about a website's traffic and traffic sources and measures conversions and sales.
