    Default .cn domain at $0.99

Currently, name.com is offering .cn domain at $0.99. Not sure how long this offer will continue but if you have any good domain then this is the right time to purchase it.

That's really cheap. I think people who want to practice on creating a website with low budget, can go for this offer.
By the way, I wonder what "cn" stands for? I mean what is the full form of "cn"?

There is one more thread about the same topic and it is here : http://www.webmaster-money.org/forum...3f76bd46d012f3
    Actually CN stands for China.

About SEO, I think domain extension has to do nothing with SEO. The only thing is people consider such unusual domains as downgraded. I suggest always try to use standard domains like ".com" for your websites to get popular.

In china, there are many competitive domain hosting services that even provides free .cn domain to their user for the hosting plan. I think if you want to register business in china or you are targeted your visitors from china, then only register .cn, if not that is no use as people will prefer .com and others for international market.

.cn is china domain and I had also witnessed the offer. Actually it was a promotional offer to attract customer. It was true that the charge for the first year was $.99 but the next year it would have charged $22 from you. That means the offer was just a gimmic. But the offer is no more and the regular price of .cn domain has become $13 at present!
