Anyway, for you I'm giving some links :
http://www.hostbidder.com (Here you can get free TLD by posting).
http://www.domain4free.com (Here you will get free TLD but your website must have good traffic, otherwise your application will be rejected)
http://hyperwebenable.com (here you will get free TLD for your blog, but here also you need a blog with good traffic)

Have you tried the co.cc free domain.
Just go to co.cc and have your domain there.

Friend, co.cc is a sub-domain. No one will opt for this. I would rather prefer .tk free TLD domain. The disadvantages of both .co.cc and .tk is the website name "yoursitename.co.cc" or "yoursitename.tk" will remain intact in your browser irrespective of which you link or page you opened in your website.

you are right satyakam there is no site offerig free domain to anybody only sub domain like co.cc,bravehost or blogspot available to use.

Usually I use free co.cc domain. But if you don't found your desired domain in co.cc, you can also try co.nr.

Please note, co.cc never ask for a back link. But co.nr asks a back link to their site and if you don't create any back link, your site will be rejected after some days.

I had booked one free domain in dot.tk site and it's free there and since then i haven't even logged into my site for a long time and maybe the site is gone now

Sorry i don't know how to get free domain name. I got domain name from this site Tucktail.com at low cost. They are providing good customer support and quality service.
