Form the wikipedia link, which you have supplied, one thing I have to clear. The 'NOODP' tag tells the SEs not to show the title and abstract of the website at ODP. But what is the problem will arise if I do not mention it, i.e., if SEs display those title and abstract!! If I could write a good title and abstract there, it will be fine for any one.

It is not necessary to use all the tags present... You can just omit this tag...

traffic is not anywhere related with search engines... It is related with alexa rankings...

Many people use Google search, then why are you saying it is based on alexa ranking. I thought it was based on google ranking.

Traffic and ranking are related indirectly ...
We submit the sites to a lot of search engines and directories in order to gain traffic to the site.
At the same time the better ranking you have the better traffic you can attract from these sources ...
