From your stories, it seems that this forum has a lot of contests with decent prizes. I hope I will have the time to browse around the forum. I'm still having a hard time to try to catch up with postings in 6 forums now. Wish I can make posts a lot faster.

There are many contests running there which will fetch u a lot of prizes only if you are active.
The forum has the last post contest which will ask you to be very active in order to win from there.
There are other daily based contests which do not require much time but can fetch you good prizes

One of the links in the email I received from GoldAge is "Were you inactive for 3 months or more? You can win a prize for coming back!" and when I clicked the link, I saw the "$5 For Becoming Premium Member & $3 For Referrers" contest. Is it the same contest? And I joined GoldAge a few months ago. I can't remember when, but I think it's way more than 3 months ago. And I think I have less than 20 posts, but I cannot confirm it, because I can't log in yet, the forum loads so slow and now I can't access it.

What should I do in this contest exactly? After I post my request in the contest's thread, I have to be a premium member, which means I have to make 120 posts. After I make 120 posts and my reputation is still 10, I don't have to wait 1 month to become a premium member, right? So, basically, to get that contest, I have to post my request, and then make 120 posts (and maintain that 10 reputation) and then make a post again there after I become a premium member. Am I right?

Well you are correct first after you log in site put your request in premium members thread and wait till admin replay after admin add your name in and after that you can start posting you need to keep one month activity and post minimum 120 post and after you complete one month you will become premium member....... that's it after this you will get paid from admin.

well if u have 120 posts with 10 rep then u still have to wait for atleast 1 month to turn premium and then only you fulfill all requirements and can get the $5...if u have more than 20 posts and less than 60 when u start off then u get a reduced amount so check it out carefully

Thanks for the explanation, guys. I made a request to join that contest and BigMumu has already added me to the list. I have way less than 20 posts although I already joined that forum a few months ago, LOL :P Btw, about that 1 month requirement, does that mean I have to wait 1 month after my username is added to that list or 1 month after I have made 120 posts?

Premium membership is obtained if you stay in the forum after 1 month from the time you join the forum

And if you joined the forum already a few months ago then as soon as you finished the 120 posts you will turn into premium ..
One more thing is the inactivity is for more than three months then you can participate in the Best new members and returning member contest as well.

I joined on July 2008, so I guess I can enter the contest. So, all I have to do is make a post there to express my interest in participating, then make 30 posts before the end of January and then make another post in that thread after I make my 30 posts?

Wow thats a long time since you have been in the forum

All you need to do is let us know that you are returning after a long time

And 30 posts in the eligibility criteria at the end of the month.
If someone is making more posts than you and is a returning member he will win it

And btw as you are already active you have only one week to win it

... and as far as i know there aren't many competitors but be more active to have more chances of winning

Yes, you can make posts in any section, but I really can't understand why you will be out if someone makes more than your posts. Actually, as far as I know, all members who participate in the "5$ for becoming premium members" will be paid after they become premium members.

Thanks. How many contests are there anyway? I saw in the contests section, there are so many, but some of them have Pending labels. I got some reading task to do here, LOL :P Btw, I find that I often cannot access this forum (GoldAge). Is it just my connection or it usually happens?

well i dont know if its just me or its happening to you guyz as well but the site is loading pretty slow for me today...all the other sites are loading fine...its a problem cuz im trying to participate in the post to win contest

I have no problem in loading the site. Infact it is loading at a very great speed as it loads every day.
I advise you to try and delete all you cookies and cache and then try again.
I am sure then the page will load better

me too can access website and their is no problem with speed at all still i haven't faced any problem i think their will be some problem with browser.

i don't know if the admin will do some changes in rules about the referral incentives. anyways, it is not easy and it will end soon in february i think and so there is no time for me to earn from referrals.
