I have not won any best members of the day contest yet, as i know many members is competing for the 3 seat of the prize daily there. It is really not easy to compete it, as there are a bunch of actives poster there. Anyway, I may try..
I noticed that you never tried yourself for the contest that's why you haven't even won once. I suggest you always keep an eye on other sections if there are many activities going on. If you feel there is nothing, and you have a chance, then immediately try to complete 15 to 20 posts, thus you will have chance to win the contest. That's what I'm exactly doing.
