MMK domain expired?
I don't this so, I already investigate MMK domain on December 2008, and it's expired on Nov 2009.
And I don't think admin forget to renew the domain because registrar will email to him to let him know if the domain name about to expire

well. i don't really understand from where the problem is coming from . if the domain expired or the hosting problem. whatever be the problem it should be fixed immediately. i don't want to lose one of my favorite sites online. cause it is really important for me to be active on this site every day. cause this is one of the honest site online.

Well, I read on some other forum that MMK is back and so I was happy and tried to make posts on MMK today. However, once the page was loaded and then while trying to make a post it started giving "database error". Now even the home page is not opening.

yes it is only database error i see when i opened the site. well does it mean that they are working on it now. and we will be able to see this site back online soon.

Domain not expired. Just try to understand what error you are getting while you load MMK forum..
Its say connection to the host can't be established. Thats means the host server connection is lost emplies mistake in the MMK hosted server...

Yeah, I also read that, and every time someone said that MMK was back, I tried to access the forum, but kept getting the database error. I tried it with www and without www (I don't know if it makes any difference), but also failed to access MMK. And I don't know what database error means, too. But how come some members can log in? Maybe MMK was accessible for a while?

Well you are right. It's giving a database error now. The site was up for some time and then this error started showing up. This should be fixed soon I guess.

Well good , it means the hosting problem is gone and only the database error is there , well i think the forum would be back up soon now.

fixing a database shouldn't be taking a long time and it can be done without closing down the site

well i am not familiar with websites. and what they need to do in order to bring it back online. i just hope the admin will open the site again. again it seems the admin is able to log in. is he still in vacation.

Owh, do the database error thing means a problem in MMK, not the hostings. I've been wondering about it because I don't know anything about hostings, database, sites and stuffs

So I guess if CEO is fixing the database and no more problems with the hostings, that means MMK will be back soon. And I also hope that there will be no more critical problems with MMK.

Don't worry, nick :P, maybe they are still busy now. Or you can remind them about it.
Anyway, I'm glad MMK is finally back and I can make posts and get credited with no problem. And I also see some activity there. I hope there won't be any more problem with this forum.

Well it is good news that MMK is back. As such , database error was not big problem and it was expected that MMK would be back soon.
However, for me it is loading too slowly. Is it the problem with other members here?

it's loading time is same as before. I have already post 1 message there in order check that it is really working. I am not getting enough reply in my e-mail box. All of you are not workign there?

I think many active members here are also members of MMK. If you don't get many replies in you email, maybe there are not many people who make posts in those thread you subscribe to. Btw, MMK is down again. It says "Bandwidth Limit Exceeded". I hope this whole problem will be over soon and everything settles.
