Thanks, I think it's a very great idea. You know what happens when people have doubts and got panic, they often say many things. If they request for payout after reaching $7 and find out that the minimum has changed to $10, they would be very disappointed and who knows what they're going to say. It could be bad for MMK reputation.

I don't think so, MMK reputation is already high as sky.
I don't think this will give huge bad reputation to them as long they still paying

I know MMK's reputation is already great, but you can feel the tensions and anxiety when MMK was suddenly inaccessible a few days ago. I think it's better be safe than sorry.

I think MMK been changing their minimum payout to $10 for quite some time already. As I read on one of the forum posts, it mentioned this changes had happened somewhere on november if I am not mistaken.. For me, that is not much different between $7 and $10. I am ok with it..

Well I do know that the rumours are spread when such condition arisres but MMK has a great reputation so I think members will trust the forum when such a condition arises.

Same here, in fact $10 is a good for me because I'm using premier account where I'll charged for fix $0.30 + some percentage.

MMK should announce or send a group mail to all the users about this change. Many will request for payout without knowing it and would get infractions without any fault of them. Yes I am also wondering why they've raised the level.

I hope so, but maybe they will make new announcement about this on New Year. and since they don't do payment on January, I believe all member in MMk already have more than $7

Well the payout increase does not really affect me , if i am active i can certainly make more than that every month.

Yes if a member is active on MMK reaching a 10$ payout should not be a problem.

anyways i noticed that many of the payout requests in november were above 1000 GC's...dont think anyone reqeusted less than that..

Well i am a bit active there now since the closing of wth , so reached 1k gc , so can request payout in jan , though some of it is through inactive referrals.

friends just today I confirmed that "make money scams" category is a unpaid section. I remember when I was new in the forum some 50 days ago, I was credited for posting in that section.
I don't know when the admin disabled credit system for the section. Then I think no one will be interested to discuss the topics in scam section.
Now I wonder whether "HYIP" sub-forum is a paid section or not? Do you know about it?

microsoft...that would be a great idea..it would attract the attention of many members...i remember intially mmk did have some contests like the sudoku one...but it wasnt on a regular basis...

Of course it will be a great success if you offer Gold coins for winners, and not reputations.
Moreover, the contest should be very simple for every member as in Platinum Lounge Lotto without any hardwork. Otherwise, many members won't mind to participate in the contest.

Well I do not understand if the competition is that easy such as a lotto then where is "competition" in that ? Won't that mean giving away free money ?

maybe what he is suggesting that each member can but lottos with GC's like 10 GC and the more lottos he/she has the more is the chance of winning but the winner will get like 500 GC....

but i still prefer contests over a lotto

Of course, Lotto means giving away free money, as Platinum does. And many people are attracted more with such Lottos than usual contests.

As far as I know, many PTP forums keep "best poster of the day" contest. But in MMK, the problem is maximum allowed posts is 20, and every day some members are making the 20 posts. So it's not possible for us to select the best poster of the day on the basis of the highest poster, but maybe we can opt for quality posts, but it's cumbersome.
So other contests I can think of is some bidding or Treasure hunt contest as in goldage.net
