well i don't have itraer points though i have traded successfully many times already. but it is not really that important for me to have itrader points. as long as i trade honestly with other members . with reputation points i don't give reputation points to othermembers as well. and i have only received one reputation points or postivite reputation points ever since i have joined this site. hopefully i wil lhave more reputation points soon.

Well the itraders are optional for the members to give like reputation. I think you do not need the itrader if you are trading at MMK because everyone will trust you there.

well i hope so that members can trust me there. but i don't think that every body are really familiar with my username there. there are always new members there who don't know me there yet. anyways, i think only old members are familiar with me and trust me to trade with me. and so goes with me. i just trust those old members that i have talked here before .

ANd about the reputation thing, I usually give reputation for those who are reporting posts regularly. I know the reputation system had a taken a backseat in between but recently I have started it again. So do report posts which are against the rules.

Well yeah that is what I suddenly saw a change in my reputation, suddenly it became 20 from 10... I thought it is because of number of posts...

You can deserve this as I know you mostly post informative posts. That people might have got excited with your reply and gave you reputation. I too would have given you for your some posts, if I had known about the reputation system before.

Thats a good thing you are doing mr. microsoft ... reputation does encourage members to be active in reporting posts and helping the mods.
I once received rep from sarsons and thats all after that none of the mods gave any rep ..

same here, i got more than 20 reputation on MMK, and all of it are given by mod (sarson) from reporting spam post. But now, I don't get any reputation from mod, since sarson not active anymore.

Well recently there is so much moderating to do on the forum that sometimes the mods don't have enough time. But still I am making it a point to give reputation to those who report regularly. I am trying to get the reputation system back active again.

Well it's not compulsory that only mods give the reputation points. Any member can give reputation to other user if he likes the post but according to MMK rules you may get an infraction if you just give reputation without any valid reason.

How will you find out that reputations has been given without any valid reason? I don't think it's possible for you to catch such invalid reputations. . Members might have impressed by the post and gave reputations, and if the admin or mods think it's a useless post, , then nothing can be done. So it seems a purely subjective one.

When you want to give a reputation you need to pick a post of the person for which you want to give reputation for ...Then you are asked to give a reason to why you are giving a reputation ...
So the mods will clearly make out on why and where the rep is given and can easily check ...

how do we explain the rearson for giving the reputation points. cause i think that when you give reputation points that you will not be asked to explain why. do we have to pm the mods here for the reason in giving reputation points.
