This price seems to be really reasonable. I had heard the lowest cost was 400 Rs. Well it nice to know the prices are coming down. I am looking forward to buying a .com domain. Thanks for the update.

The rate is really very cheap for domains. But I think only for .info they have little costly because we can buy .info domain for 200 Rs. from many other registrars.

it's because Icann increase the fee of domain registration.
All registrar already increase the price. It's around $9 I think.

I think Mitsu.in is the cheapest at ~$12 per domain, and idotz.net is also cheap.

So I think it is better if we buy a domain as soon as possible for our future work, before the price increases further. Already there is 2$ hike in the price within 2 months.

Well, that means the value of rupees in related to USD has come down from 50 to 48, right? Then the price of domain is supposed to be lower.

I noted that this price is only for first year when you register. I'm sure for renewal of your domain it must be higher than other registrars to offset the price of the registration. Some registrars provide free domain in first year, some provides domain for the lowest price, but eventually their intention is to get back their discount while renewal.
