    Default google bot crawl rate?

    I am really not sure how many times google bot visits our websites and blogs daily. I have checked few results for my newer blogs and it seems like google is now crawling slowly as I still see the same cached pages.Is it true? what is its crawl rate then?

    As far as I know its depends on the site, like in orkut.com the bots visit very frequently as the data is added more frequently, so probably talking of our blogs then it surely I guess once or twice in a week.

    Is it depends on the frequency of website updation or it crawl at a regular interval?

    Dear friend, I'm agree with nick and ssarkar. You need to continue update your website or blog, than google bot visit our site everyday.

    all you need to do is update your site everyday and bots will visit your site daily to crawl in the SE...

    Yes, we have to update our site at a regular interval and try to add some internationally accepted topic. I think your site will automatically included into the google, yahoo, msn SEs.

    Well think about this, if i wanna but some potatoes and only u have it then i will have to come to you! And if u want the money u have to crawl around to sell ur potatoes so that u can earn money!
    Many factors are involved in SEO! Take this if you have just 100MB B/W then u might not have more than 1000 visitors per day! But if this crosses it would be like updation of your database and website! This is where Crawler's net comes in!

    I don't know how this works, but I see on some forum that google bot, yahoo bot, etc is showing as visitor.
