no java script comes with inbuilt security . so there should not be much problem with it.

I don't think if you have to manually put the javascript code on your website, it can contain viruses. I have never experienced that buddy. Its only, if you go to potential sites which can contain javascripts with faulty scripting or viruses, you can get them installed, otherwise the chances are remote.

yes that is true. there are no way those javascript will cause any viruses to be installed in your program. no one has experienced this yet and so will be safe to use that.

yes java script is not that safe, it can download virus on your client systems. hence they should not be used if you can use some alternative ones.

well if you think it is not really safe then you should just choose what javascript and from where javascript you are going to download on your blog. cause i am not just copying and paste those javascript codes into my blog if i don't trust that website.

Well javascript are pretty secure and they might not contain virus unless you program them to act as a virus. And if you are talking about the ads displayed by various companies on your site, They do not contain viruses. They are just advertising themselves.

There wont be any problem to your java script because every browser is well authenticated and unless a professional hacker try's to hack your site.

You can have Java script and also any other script. There will not be any problem. Java script does not have any problem. It is actually a program/script developed by developer or hacker in Java script which acts as a Virus but your own script in your site won't be a problem.

You can freely use this Java script in your all websites.

Java scripts are not necessary always harmful. If they are written purposely to harm s/w, then it is called virus, otherwise not. Many freely available javascripts are available, you can freely use them onto your website, I think.

Many sites offer the option for you to include their .js files from their servers. This can be a potential security hole, since you can't control what those other sites are putting in their .js code. If you are unsure, make sure you host all of the .js files on your server.
