First you have to know about your niche and keyword. Actually your niche is your keyword. Then make a landing page and set up auto email responder. Capture their email address and then reply them regularly with you affiliate link that is the way of real affiliate marketing.

Affiliate marketing is basically a promoting/selling other peoples products for a % of the sales price.

The best answer is high quality content. If you can build a site with high quality and unique posts I am sure people can click or sign up on your affiliate link offer. You can also use social media such as facebook and twitter.
