Can a site be in #1 in all the major S.Engine simultaneously

Can any site be top in google, yahoo and msn ?? Does this happens??

It depends solely on the keyword and the focus on that keyword that the site has given.

Try searching "AdventureQuest" on any search engine, and www.battleon.com will surely be the #1 result. This is because AdventureQuest is the primary keyword (being the title of the site) and is the primary focus on by the webmaster.

So, to answer your question, Yes, it is possible for a site to be the #1 in searches.

However, if you meant Technorati Rank or Alexa Rank, then it depends on the factors considered by the Ranking system. To know more about those, you'll have to research on the different systems. I can tell you now though that it will be very hard to achieve #1 in various/all ranking systems.

And why should we worry of the traffic from other search engine when 90 % traffic from search engine is through those 3.

yea but as defier mentioned if u type that keyword in "any" SE...so i guess that site must really be getting good traffice provided that "specific" keyword is used...now tell me how often will that be...

Let it be nick... Most of the people wish that their website ranks top in the google... As they can apply for google adsense program.... I am not sure how true it works in the case of yahoo PPC programs..
