how much money do professional web designers earn

Debasis, because of this frustration only i have reduced this projects and concentrate more on other online earnings available including stock market.Though i still take website projects, but don't waste much time on marketing for that like before

I have one small question.Is recession is affecting web designers too? Are they getting paid less?

I don't think being a freelancer is effecting web designers much in this recession period instead some of them they do make more profits than regular IT professional working fro some company
