Well people write down the password so that they can remember. If you encrypt them you will have to write the password the decrypt the file somewhere else again.

Ya.Thats true. But if you loose that paper then it will be dangerous so its better that you just save that copy on your laptop or desktop and keep that file password protected so that no could open it.

But what about remembering the password used to encrypt the file ? We are storing passwords here because we do not remember them right ?

No we are not doing that to remember password. We are doing it because for safety. You can remember your password easily after entering 4 or 5 times and still if you dont remember then you keep easy password for encrypted file.

File encrypiton means the file is encrptyed in special way which meet only you can decrpyts back the files, after you encrypt it, you can sent to your email as a backup. Wherever you go once you can open your email means you can access to your password files.

I really don't used to your way to write down in a paper and put few paper in different way, this is only giving more chances that your paper being read by some others people or you will lose it without remembering, and also have to always bring the paper out in order to login. It is quite inconvenience this way.

Ya.Thats true write down on 2 separate papers is dangerous because if anyone found 1 paper then he can guess the other half and can guess complete password better way is to remember your password.

No, he means putting 2 password paper which is full password, both paper is same, put in different places. Not half password and guess another half password in others. If he put this way, it is really complicated.

So there is no use of keeping password in 2 places. It is more dangerous than keeping in one place.

Well that would add up to a lot of confusion. Finding different passwords at different places. I would rather prefer mugging up my password.

no one should never keep the same password for all the accounts that one have online because the chances of account getting hacked increases then.

yes. usually no one know your password are all same but if you registered on some fake site and you submitted your payment processors id there. then he can use that same password to enter your processor account and steal your money.
