For web sites that do not feature adult content or services, the Yahoo! Directory Submit service costs US$299 (nonrefundable) for each Directory listing that is submitted. Furthermore, for each listing accepted into the Directory, there is a recurring annual fee of US$299 to maintain the listing in the Directory for the subsequent year. For sites that include adult content or services, the nonrefundable initial fee is US$600 and the recurring annual fee is US$600.

ohh really? i have never tried submitting there. instead i tried to post on yahoo discussion boards. and google submission directories

well do you mean whe you submit it in yahoo directories. that your website or blog will be one among those list when some one try to search a topic related to you. 300 dollars is a big money. i think it is worth only when you are trying to advertise your busines. if not then it is not really worth to advertise it.

is this yahoo listing is similiar to google adword?
if yes, i prefer use adword, because they are cheaper.

It is totally free to submit your site to yahoo search engine and in fact every search engine. For yahoo, you just need to have a yahoo email account. Paid submission is provided for featured listings and not for submission only.. 8)

they charge minimum and of course nominal charges for the registered persons . otherwise u can try in discussions and answers of yahooo

submitting your sites in the any search engines its absolutely free....I dont know about porn sites but other sites are free...any one can submit their pages.

I also don't know that submitting to ones search result would cost you so much. I have submitted my website to yahoo search also and it hasn't charge me a penny. Maybe what you are discussing is something about advertisement with yahoo.

This is too much. I have not imagine this before. I thought it is free to submit the site in the yahoo search. ohh ok I got the point. Your subject line is talking about yahoo search engine and in the post you are talking about yahoo directory. Which is I think different.

Submitting site to yahoo is free.. I have already submitted my site to yahoo search but not in the yahoo directory. Submitting in Directory may require money. Please correct me if I am wrong. Good day!

this is the first time i heard of such a info about yahoo submittion.
i think such a submition is only suitable for big companies right?
only those companies can afford such a fee.

yeah, you can submit your website to yahoo search engine by using bing webmaster tools.

You don't pay to get into any of the big search engines natural (free or organic) listings (and note, Bing powers Yahoo results). Google has ways of submitting your web pages directly to their index. ... Submit A Site To Google. Submit.
