I have placed google links ads in the top in every blog which I have and you know it has worked. Have you tried them ??

Nick i think if we add the link ads in between our posts then it will generate more number of clicks as people who keep on reading our blog may tend to click the ads.. Whats your point of view??

It's all about the placement of the ads really. If you place ads in a location where people will always see them, then your CTR will be very high. If you place them in a location hardly viewed by your readers, then it won't matter even if you have a great blog, your ads will never be seen and you won't earn.

If you place google ads i between posts CTR will increase and always try to change the colour of the goolgle link same as website background colour.

Google generated some thing called heat maps for ad placement. Optimum placement according to the map will ensure maximum clicks to the ads
