I think not only in india, in my country, paypal is always the best online currency, and alsmot all the online transaction is only using paypal to do transaction others than those credit card and banks online. No one even using AP nor LR in my country on purchase online. So, i always vote for paypal.
that's good if paypal can provide all kinds of convenince features to your country members so you even do not need to use LR nor AP..but if several sites only paid via LR and AP..you still need to use them..
Yes, in my country LR and AP not that important, but AP also provides direct bank in my local bank account with only low charges of 50 cents per transaction only, as for LR, i just get it to exchanges for PP or AP only.
