Well I am a new freebie out to the Internet world, so I guess its 1 $ per individual domain and the prices goes down if you buy domains in bulk

i think you will pay a month payment for a domain. i think the cheap ones is about $5 a month. i have not heard of $1.

such domain is much expensive now.you can visit some of the domain provider below:
•namecheap_9.29$_PP
• 1and1_6.12$_PP
• netfirms_$5.95/year
• active-domain
• lovingdomains_6.99$ eg/pp/lr
• godaddy_9.99$_PP

then you will know it is worth more than 5$ every domain.
for real info just visit their sites.

thanks for those lists of domain site. yes .com domain i think is the most popular one we have now on the internet. i will want to have a domain. but even it is not .com i think it will be just fine since it is cheap. i may buy two domain. one .com and the other one is .info.

Look guys I am buing domain names for last 8 years and I found out that there is many "Cheap" registrars like netfirms or godaddy or others but there us BUT.
There is always some hint, some little writing some term you dont see and which will popup later so called hidden cost.
I would like to warn you but nice example is that netfirms.
You get this price but you can buy max 5 domains and than you have to pay 9.99 and you find this on next page at the bottom somwhere.
But usualy the low price is for first year and other years are again more than 9 USD and you dont find this. This surprice comes when you need to renew.

So that is why I am still with company called iDotz where you pay always 8.95 and less if you by for more years... plus you have there more TLDs to choose and easy overview and absolutely "no hidden costs".

well yes it is much cheap in iDotz
it is $8.95 per year for .com while it is 9.99$ in godaddy
but godaddy is of best reputation than others
maybe i will condsider iDotz in the future.

is it really $8.95 only per year. and no other cost like monthly cost and etc. when i buy a domain do i need freehosting. well i really don't know if my domain will work if i just buy a domain only.

if you want a free domain name without ads you can always use the .tk domain. The space you have to provide it yourself

If you want to buy domain from India, the lowest charge is Rs.100 only for one year .info. If you want .com domain , the cost is over Rs. 300. Contact glosoftindia.

I'm going to receive a free domain from hostbidder.com, so I don't need to search for any cheap domain registrar. But as far as I know, godaddy and name.com are the reputed domain registrars.
