please tell me can i get a domain name for free, if yes then how

There are some ways for you to get free domains. You can try a redirection domain, such as www.dot.tk or www.co.cc to redirect to your blog/site or your subdomain if you use free hosting sites that usually give free subdomain to the users. There are also forums that offer domains for posting in their forums such as ddboard and some more.
If you really need free domain go try those one. Hope that will help.

You will never get the full domain like www.sitename.com but you can get some sub domains for free like www.sitename.com/XXXXXXX

And if you want to have the dmain of your own you have to spend 3$ atlest ..

So its depend which domain name you reffer here

yeah I also got my free domain from the hosting plan that I purchased.

If u live in argentina, argentina provides free .com.ar domains...

you can never get a free domain, in my opinion. you will always have to buy something in exchange of that one way or another, just like packages of webhosting with free domain. and also, www.co.cc and www.dot.tk is an independent domain, so if ever you'll acquire for the give service, you'll only get a sudomain.

Anyways the cost incurred will become the same, webhosting plans will hike little amount and so providing you with name of free domain.... So which one to go for ???

Which is the best free web hosting service provider which dont provide many pop-up ads..Nowadays i am able see most of them are really providing some pop-up ads..

Some webhosts offer free domains when you signup for their services. You might want to also to take a look at that.

If you are really up for just a free hosting or a free domain, I would suggest bravenet.com, I think their free web hosting is good and the FTP functionality and their other features is also good. I have recently crossed a forum that gives free hosting, of course you'll get a subdomain, when you acquire the amount of required post.. there levels, the lowest i think is 15 posts and you'll get a 5MB size hosting. (Cpanel, Wordpress etc)

i search too for a free domain but i see that good domains are not for free , if anyone know free domains so tell us about them ..

I don't really think you can get a free domain. You will always have to pay for it one way or another.

yes of course its well known that if you increase the purchased time , you will got lower rate but i don't recommend starting with a one year package ..

I think it better you buy domain in bulk then you will get it cheap and if you buy individual then also it would costing you not more than a 1 USD depending upon the extension.

All the proposals we see on the net, and anything that is free of subdomain
I think to have a domainname you have to buy it

I think it is not free at all, we need some time to post in order to get domain.
and it is better if you have luck, you can get domain easily for winning contest.
i know some site that give you domain just for 25 post.
