I get a good project some days ago. The work was from a local company and I designed their 8 pages website. It includes 1 guestbook, 1 contact page and other 6 others page. They paid me total $130 and i think that is good salary. Web designing is a hot profession not doubt.
webdesigning is a hot work and it has a bright future but friend the coin has both side, it also involves many risk...and headache now a days very worst clients are coming and making bargain and giving headache to ke this and that but they don't understand our situation that how difficult is this...its also not a easy task to satisfy your client, what you say about this?Quote:

the thing is that i am in India but all of my clients are from outside India so this is causing problem and some are calling me over phone but some are giving projects over chatting so convincing in this case very complecated for me....anyhow thanks for the advice but i am angry on u each and every time in different posts i am telling you to show either ur portfolio or show ur blog and tell ur real name but u r not replying them.Quote:

I think that depends on the creativity of that designer plus his work experience.
I think it's better if you are a freelance web designer cause you can prize your own work and talk directly to your client and if your professional web designer you can earn huge amount of money it depends on how the customer will pay and you can negotiate the prize with them.
Having overseas clients is always good isn't it?you can also earn in dollars as in india you will be getting in indian currency.Don't be angry my friend, here in this forum everytiime i login after 2 hours i try different forums, so i will be missing someQuote:

Typing Codes everyday and thinking about new things and implement it also not so easy, people will come and tell we want to this type of things but they don't understand we are also human being not a robot that we can design and develop within 2 to 3days, my fingers are paining.Quote:

If you work online and as a freelance webdesigner it would all depend on your location I guess. Coz my brother is a programmer and also do webdesigning at the same time some of his employer would give him high rate but once they know your location they would lower there rate and thats just bad for own opinion.
I don't think being a freelancer is effecting web designers much in this recession period instead some of them they do make more profits than regular IT professional working fro some companyQuote:
